New Puppies!!

Apollo and Bella had 4 new puppies on March 18, 2012!!!

We have 4 new boys, 3 smooth coats (black tri, sable/white, gold/white) and 1 long coat (white with gold markings). All puppies are doing well! Here are photos taken at age 2 weeks old!

Here are new photos of Missy's puppies, taken today! They turn 3 weeks old on Monday and they are both adorable! Missy and Cowboy had 2 long coat males!

Great news and new puppies!

We had good news this week. The Chis that have not yet had their patella and cardiac clearences done all completed them this week. They are all NORMAL. So soon you will find all their test results on the CERF, OFA and CHIC health databases!

In addition, we had new puppies born on Monday, March 5! These are our first puppies for year 2012! We have two beautiful boys! Photos of the new babies taken today are below! Both are long coat puppies!

All Normal!!

I am happy to say that all the Chihuahuas (7 Chis) that we brought in today for CERF eye exams with Opthamologist Dr Bruce Grahn (Professor at U of Sask) are all Normal! :) We brought in Apollo, Maya, Starlet, Angel, Dolly, Betty Boop, and Prada. :) Most of them all have their cardiac and patella clearances too, and the ones that don't will get that done this coming week.

We feel strongly about health testing all of our Chihuahuas, as this ensures a healthier puppy!!
Heart, Eye and Patella certification are the three requirements for Chihuahua CHIC (Canine Health Information Center) Certification numbers and are searchable in a public database.

We health test and certify all of our Chihuahuas for Heart and Patella (OFA certification) and Eye (CERF certification).

New Puppies!

Here are some beautiful smooth coat puppies that have been born here, recently! All puppies are also sired by our new male, Apollo!

Miss Minnie

Miss Minnie (Picasso's Miss Minnie) is one of our girls that is hopefully due to have puppies soon! She is a beautiful girl, and we are eager to see if she might be pregnant, and if so, see the new arrivals! The puppies should be exceptional!

Miss Minnie has a fantastic personality, and loves everyone/everything! She is always such a happy girl!

Buddy is now in Norway

Buddy is Am/Can CH Picasso's Love Song and he is now in his new home in Norway with his  owner Marthe Dalen! Buddy is a beautiful boy, and is ranked #7 Long Coat in Canada 2011 shown only 3 weekends last year.

We already miss Buddy a great deal, but we know he is in a great home which is the most important thing!

New Stud Boy!

We have an exciting new boy that is a part of our boys here at Picasso Chihuahuas. He is a smooth coat, and a homebred Picasso Chihuahua! Already he has sired a couple litters and they look most promising! He passes on his exceptional happy and affectionate personality to all of his puppies along with his beautiful Chihuahua type!

His name is Apollo, CH Picasso's Fire in the Sky. He is also a new Canadian Champion, finishing in only 2 shows as a puppy!
